Position Overview
We are seeking highly responsible, hospitable commercial drivers for the role of Team Member Shuttle Driver. In this crucial support role, you will safely operate a mid-sized passenger shuttle bus or large passenger van, providing continuous transit for our warehouse associates between remote parking lots, local transit hubs, and the main facility entrances.
Essential Responsibilities
- Safe Passenger Transit: Pilot a commercial passenger vehicle smoothly and safely, prioritizing the physical comfort and absolute security of your fellow Walmart associates.
- Schedule Adherence: Maintain a strict, continuous looping schedule to align perfectly with the complex shift changes of the Distribution Center, ensuring no associate is ever late due to transit delays.
- Warm Hospitality: Act as a friendly, welcoming ambassador for the facility. Greet associates warmly as they board, fostering a positive atmosphere before their work shift begins.
- Fleet Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections, ensure the interior cabin remains impeccably clean, and report any mechanical irregularities immediately to the fleet maintenance team.
