Clothing departments require more hands-on presentation maintenance than hard-goods areas, making this a detail-oriented, visually focused position.

Position Overview

Walmart is hiring Apparel Associates to maintain clothing department presentation and provide customer assistance at Supercenter locations. You will fold and organize merchandise tables, maintain size-sorted hanging racks, process apparel returns, manage fitting room operations, and assist customers with sizing, styles, and product locations across men's, women's, and children's clothing areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Fold and organize merchandise on display tables maintaining neat, size-sorted, brand-consistent presentations throughout the day.
• Sort hanging rack merchandise by size, color, and style ensuring customers can browse efficiently and find their sizes quickly.
• Process apparel returns re-hanging, re-folding, and returning garments to correct display locations in the department.
• Manage fitting room operations including customer item counts, room cleanup, and return-to-floor processing of tried-on items.
• Assist customers with sizing questions, style recommendations, and locating specific items across apparel sub-departments.

Qualifications & Benefits

Must be 16+ years of age. No prior apparel or retail experience required — an eye for visual organization and clothing presentation develops on the job. Friendly customer service attitude essential. Must stand and walk for full shift.
